Crab Farming.
Crab farming is one of the cooperative's initiatives for sustainable coastal resource utilization and economic empowerment. The project has received support from the Ministry of Blue Economy and aims to create income opportunities while promoting responsible use of marine resources.
Sustainable Agriculture.
Ustawi wa Jamii Chuini promotes sustainable agricultural practices across approximately 6 hectares of land divided into three zones. The initiative focuses on food production, sustainable use of natural resources, income generation, and improving community livelihoods.
Beekeeping
The beekeeping initiative promotes sustainable income generation while supporting environmental conservation. Through beekeeping and honey production, community members can develop livelihood opportunities while contributing to the protection of natural ecosystems.
Mangrove Conservation.
Ustawi wa Jamii Chuini promotes mangrove conservation and restoration through tree planting, seedling production, coastal protection, and environmental awareness. The cooperative has successfully planted more than 45,000 mangroves, contributing to the protection of coastal ecosystems and biodiversity.
